There is always light at the end of the tunnel!
With all the things that are happening in the world as a result of the coronavirus, now might seem like a hard time to talk about being positive. Yet staying positive is a core ingredient in the recipe of successful coping in a crisis. Let Glen Wambeek, the Managing Director of 21st Century Group (Investment-Construction-Management) give you some advice to face these times.
Hi everyone, it’s Glen from 21st Century Group, the umbrella organisation for investments, construction, property management and sales. Oh! By the way, this is my new look, the unshaved look. Not really, not really. I was just lazy, so there you go. I want to talk to you about the situation that we are in right now. Today is the 1st of April, 2020 and it ain’t no April fool’s joke. A lot of people talk about doom and gloom and they’re right. Right now, there’s a lot of doom and gloom and we don’t know where we are in, currently. People talk about unchartered waters or unchartered territories, but for every unchartered territory that we have gone through, it has now been chartered, for every storm which we go through, there’s always a calm at the end and hopefully a rainbow as well.
Let’s not forget, that there are very smart people out there who are working on a cure and I’m quite sure that they will find this cure sooner than we are expecting it, much sooner. There’s always light at the end of the tunnel. I don’t know how long this tunnel is, but let’s be positive. Okay?
Let’s be positive and know that there are people out there who are working on it. We need to look after ourselves and by looking after ourselves, we are also looking after our family, our colleagues and everyone around us.
So before I go into my usual Glen thing, don’t forget to hand sanitizer, use a mask and please keep on washing your hands with soap and water, but when I say washing your hands with soap and water, that’s exactly what I mean. Okay? Not just washing your hands.
Something else that I would like to talk to you about is, I’ll been doing a lot of video chats, so that you could physically see me and talk to me. I’ll be using an application called Zoom. Okay, I prefer to use Zoom, it’s a much easier application to use and all you have to do is click the link and download the app and it works like a charm, I’ve been told, and it’s a much better connection. To tell you, on the Saturday that just went by, I did my first video chat with Brett and Kym, I cannot tell you their surname for privacy reasons, but Brett and Kym, great chat right? So that was my first video chat.
So if you want to have a chat, please text me, email me. I’ll send you what’s needed and let’s have a chat. Thanks for watching the video and please keep in mind,
there’s always light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you. Goodbye!
